Tonight to mark Football v Homophobia’s LGBT History Month we held our first non-football social event of the year at the Watford Museum, the event was for our members, friends and supporters.

We were pleased to see over 30 people attended the evening including some from the club, other fan groups and the local council. The museum kindly gave everyone access to their extensive collection of hornets memorabilia, including items such as the 1998 Division 2 title and the 1999 Playoff final trophy.

It was great to have a chance to talk to so many of you over the course of the evening and the feedback we received was that you all enjoyed yourselves.

The second part of the evening saw us able to announce that both of club captains Troy Deeney and Helen Ward have both agreed to be patrons of the Proud Hornets.

We also spoke to Colin who interviewed us for the latest From the Rookery End podcast about what we have been up too since the last time we spoke to them after the rainbow laces display in 2018.

Obviously, we’d recommend listening to the whole podcast as the guys always do a great job but if you’re short of time our part is around the 13:40 mark.
